MOVEMBER 2008
What is it?
I was introduced to this by some work mates from New Zealand last year and did a feeble attempt at it, this year however i have gone into it with both feet.
Basically it is a worldwide registered charity event to try and promote mens health issues such as prostate cancer.
What it involves it the men have to have a clean shaven face on the 1 November and grow and groom a moustache in what ever shape and form they wish for the whole of November, hence the name MOVEMBER. Anyone who is interested in more can visit the website MOVEMBER. Anyone who wishes to donate can do so via donate to movember and click on donate then enter my registration number 1680841.
Both men and women are involved, men are called MO BROS and women are called MO SISTERS, obviously because women cannot grow a moustache they have to promote their MO BRO.
Remember its a good cause.
I must really apologise for my lack of posting on my blog. This year has been a very hectic and busy year but i have decided that i am to blog more often.
I have recently enrolled on an SPI photography course called "Foundation In Digital Photography" and i have already submitted module 1.
I have started to set up my website CC Photo where i have not only posted my module 1 submissions but also some of my "best" attempts at photography. Anyone and everyone is welcome to view it and comment (good or bad).
I have also enrolled on "MOVEMBER" but will post more about this next.
We are now just waiting for the surgeons to decide her after treatment.
Anyway her sister very kindly bought her these lovely tulips which i could not resist taking some close up macro pictures of using my Nokia N95.
